Alongside his companion Mickey Mouse, Donald is one of the most famous Disney characters and was remembered for TV Guide's rundown of the 50 biggest animation characters ever in 2002. He has showed up in a greater number of movies than some other Disney character, and is the most distributed comic book character on the planet outside of the hero classification.
